US EPA Lead Abatement Professionals
The Lead Abatement Professionals are charged with training and certifying individuals conducting lead-based paint activities. Accredited trainers address lead hazards while adhering to specific work practices to ensure quality.
Better Business Bureau
We are listed with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB issues reliability reports on all businesses, whether or not they are BBB accredited. Renaissance Windows and Doors has been BBB accredited since 5/5/1998, and our current rating is an A+.
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
The Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the ASID is dedicated to promoting design excellence, serving its members and the public, demonstrating the value of the profession, and strengthening the partnership with industry and related professions. ASID helps the public in locating local interior designers and if you own an interior design company, membership can help you grow your business.
Greater Houston Builders Association
The Greater Houston Builders Association was chartered in 1941 and since then has been helping to represent all aspects of the residential building industry in the greater Houston area. Working in communities and interacting with government, the association aims to enhance the business climate for members while providing quality attainable housing.
U.S. Department of Energy
Information about tax breaks available for home energy efficient improvements can be found on the U.S. Department of Energy website. The Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 was signed into law on December 17, 2010 by President Obama. Among other things, this law extends tax credits for energy efficiency into 2011 though with some changes. This is also where you will find information on various other, related tax credits relating to automobile tax credits and renewable energy tax credits.
National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)
The NFRC is a nonprofit organization that administers the only uniform, independent rating and labeling system for the energy performance of windows, doors, skylights and attachment products. Their mission is to develop and administer energy-related rating and certification programs that serve the public by providing fair, accurate and credible information on fenestration performance. Our line of Infinity by Marvin products have one of the highest performance ratings from NFRC.
U.S. EPA Energy Star
By now we’ve all heard of the Energy Star rating, but what does it really mean? Energy Star is a joint program of the U.S. EPA and the Department of Energy. Energy Star products help everyone save money while protecting the environment through energy efficient products and practices.
American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA)
The AAMA has been an advocate for manufacturers and professionals in the fenestration industry since 1936. Among its concerns: product certification, standards development, education and training, legislative regulations, and building and energy codes.
